Dehydrated alfalfa
Product with a high content of proteins, beta-carotenes, vitamins and mineral salts.

Characteristics
The dehydration process prevents the formation of toxins and moulds that could cause disease or infection in livestock.
The quality of our products differs depending on the cutting stage. Six cuts are normally done each year: those with the best fibre content are the second and third, while the most protein-rich are the last ones.
Alfalfa is chopped to an average length of 5-10 cm and packed in high-density bales.

Formats
The average weight of the bales, depending on their length, is between 400 kg and 800 kg.
The high compression density achieved in the processing facility makes it possible to obtain the highest possible weight per bale, optimising transport and storage.
Alfalfa pellets have a protein content of between 15% and over 20% as sampled basis, with less than 10% ash.
Pellets can be supplied in different formats, starting from 6 mm in diameter.
The average weight of small alfalfa bales, depending on their format, is between 30 kg and 60 kg.
Small bales are useful if they need to be moved manually.
They can be supplied in blocks of 18 pieces.
